Swans and Cygnets

Wonderful pictures showing the family life of swans at Ninesprings in Yeovil. There's even a moment when one of the cygnets tries repeatedly to climb on the cob's back and he's having none of it.
He gently lifts the cygnet up and drops it back in the water.
Luckily mum is on hand to play the ferryman and the shot of the day for me was the little cygnet playing in the water on his own.
All in all a fun capture and worth the early start..
